I was contacted by Danièle Ducheveu in December 2023. She wanted to conduct an interview on the arts and crafts as part of her visual communication training. It was a new exercise for her. It was new for me too, and I agreed to take part.
We talked about training, the role of framing in showcasing works of art, the importance of preserving and protecting the items entrusted to me, and the constant stimulation that this profession brings.
I was shaking with nerves, and the videographer had to deal with multiple technical problems, with no possibility of rescheduling the interview! Nevertheless, we had a great time. This discussion allowed me to talk about my passion for my profession as an art framer in a different way.
